On October 13, the Foshan Council for the Promotion of International Trade (FCPIT)and the Foshan Chamber of International Commerce(FCIC) held a "Foshan Foreign Trade Star Sea" English short video competition sharing meeting and a forum on new foreign trade tools.

The "Foshan Foreign Trade Star Ocean" English short video competition started in June. After three months, the competition organizing committee has received a total of 225 English short video works from more than 200 contestants, of which 50 are excellent English The video works have won various awards and have been played more than 530,000 times on the video account of the FCPIT.

In the next step, FCPIT also plans to put the excellent videos of enterprises on GOOGLE, TikTok, YouTube,Facebook and other overseas platforms for broadcast, and expand the influence of the short video competition through international channels, "promoting trade through competition", so that enterprises can gain more from it. Effective, better develop overseas markets.

Afterwards, the winners spoke at the meeting one by one, sharing their experience in this competition, as well as their accumulated experience and difficulties in the use of new foreign trade tools such as short videos and self-media.

The event aims to guide export-oriented enterprises to speed up the use of new formats and new models, vigorously publicize Foshan's first-class business environment, and enhance Foshan's international influence.
